‘The KGK way’ clarifies our core values – Knowledgeable, Reliable and Open – and provides overall guidance for all our employees. Our core values show who we are and what we stand for.

At KGK, we believe in the inherent driving force of the individual. We are firmly convinced that all employees want to do a good job, contribute towards KGK’s development and achieve our goals. In order to do so, our managers and employees need to work together. Although leaders and employees have different roles to play, they are two sides of the same KGK coin.

Employeeship should be characterised by employees taking their own responsibility and always striving to do their best. Leadership should create the right conditions for employees to succeed in this.

We believe that a mutual relationship with good dialogue between managers and employees is the best way to ensure every employee’s commitment, motivation and responsibility.

Working environment
Ensuring a good, safe working environment is a key strategic issue for KGK. The aim of KGK’s working environment initiatives is to create a workplace that is perceived as being stimulating and motivating for all employees. We achieve this by integrating health and safety into everything we do, and by encouraging leadership that promotes health and safety. Through KGK’s fitness initiatives, we encourage our employees to improve their own health and create the right conditions for achieving this.

The psychosocial working environment is important to us. We work constantly for an open, trusting climate that creates the right conditions for good work results.

A good working environment is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone is involved via our systematic working environment initiatives, although the ultimate responsibility lies with the employer.

KGK focuses on work that creates value. Delivering on time and doing things the right way from the beginning is efficient, reduces costs and saves time. This also results in satisfied customers and colleagues.

In order to reduce our environmental impact, we constantly review how we can make our business model even more sustainable and how we can make it easier for our customers to choose sustainable alternatives. Together with our customers and suppliers, KGK can reduce our industry’s environmental impact and continuously improve our environmental work.

KGK constantly reviews ways in which we can reduce our energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and waste.

KGK always takes environmental impact into consideration when making decisions. A reduction in environmental impact often brings both financial and environmental benefits.
